Sliced and Diced
Tasked by Assignment to make an eye catching 15 sec TV spot for Kiwibank's fresh take on split mortgage rates. We blended the best parts of stop motion and digital animation to create a video that would stand out from the crowd and embody the idea behind the new mortgage product.
We made the most of the tactile aspects of paper-craft stop motion; shooting the paper being cut and rolled out in a studio. Then compositing the stop motion with digital animation and plate shots, allowing a speedy post production workflow that could meet their tight deadline.
